Artist Statement:
"Painting for me is immensely satisfying although I am never satisfied that i've done all I want to do with it. My exploration of paint, color, surfacem, shape and line is unending.
Inspirations for discoveries are all around me from the small details to the vast areas of my daily surroundings. Abstraction expands those discoveries for me, and, I hope, opens possibilities for the viewer." |

Andrews was born September 21, 1949 in Hartford, Connecticut. He received his BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1972.
